Under the Gabled Green

This custom interior millwork package was designed as part of a full-gut renovation of a primary suite retreat in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ. Rich textures and timeless detailing define the spaces—from built-in reading nooks with drawer storage to finely crafted paneled walls, cabinetry, and integrated desk areas.

A warm, earthy palette ties together painted and natural finishes, creating a seamless connection between the bedroom, flex spaces, and built-in millwork. The custom desk and open shelving feature oak accents and wire mesh door panels, while the cozy window seats incorporate storage with inset drawers and refined hardware. Layered wood ceilings and herringbone brick floors bring depth and character throughout, merging function with high-end craftsmanship.

This interior package exemplifies thoughtful detailing and materials that elevate everyday living while maintaining a sense of calm and cohesion.
